Coaches from football and rugby continue to work together to figure out how both sports can handle contact and tackling in the safest way possible, while also retaining a competitive edge.
On March 2-3 in Las Vegas, just before the USA 7s tournament, ATAVUS will host its 4th annual Coach Development Conference, designed to help coaches develop on-field skills for modern Rugby and introduce Rugby-inspired tackling and analytics to drive more effective and safer techniques.
This year’s ATAVUS conference has been completely re-tooled, enabling coaches to choose tracks relevant to their specific development, interests and program needs.
USA Men’s Eagles 7s Assistant Coach Chris Brown will provide the keynote address on Day One of conference, sharing coaching preparations and strategies that led to three historic victories over the New Zealand All-Blacks at the beginning of this season’s HSBC Sevens World Series.
Coaches interested in more information, pricing, and registration for the ATAVUS Coach Development Conference should visit: rugby.atavus.com/event/conference, or email ATAVUS Education Development Manager Shawn Pittman at firstname.lastname@example.org(link sends e-mail).
