Serevi Rugby andHSBC joined forces and kicked off a series of HSBC Rugby Festivals in Brazil. As the biggest name in American rugby and the sponsor of the International Sevens Series, Serevi and HSBC will bring rugby to thousands of youngsters and will target children who are unfamiliar with the game we have all fallen in love with. After 5 days of playing rugby in the sun, we are headed across the puddle Hong Kong, and then we will bring it back home for our final festival of the series in New York City.
Since the day we opened our doors, Serevi Rugby has been focused on #GrowingTheGame of rugby and since then we became a one of the biggest names in the sport. HSBC Holdings’ Giles Morgan said so himself in an interview about our new partnership. “By partnering with the biggest names in the sport in Serevi Rugby, and by working closely with our partners at the IRB and the local unions, we are hopefully going to enable more youngsters to learn about Sevens and build excitement on the Road to Rio.” Not only are we dominating the rugby programming scene in America, now we are sharing our talent with the rest of the world, teaching them how to fall in love with Rugby the American way.
