Sales & Marketing Intern (Seattle, WA)
Hometown: Richmond, VA
College: Graduated from Virginia Wesleyan College in 2011 with a Bachelor’s in Communication with a double concentration in Media Studies and Journalism. Will graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Master’s in Sport Leadership in August 2015.
Background in Rugby: Grew up on the sidelines of James River Rugby in Richmond, VA and participated in youth camps at the Cape Fear 7’s rugby tournament yearly. Began playing for James River Women after graduating from undergrad and was an administrator for James River’s social media. Also coached the 7s side for James River Women in 2014. Led marketing and promotion for the Serevi High Performance Training Camp in partnership with the Capital Rugby Union in Washington D.C. in February 2015.
Sales & Marketing Intern (Seattle, WA)

College: Currently studying Recreational Management at Metropolitan State University of Denver; projected graduation, 2016.
Background in Rugby: I have played rugby for the past 7 years, I started playing rugby my freshman year at Kingwood High School and played all 4 years. I then moved on to play in college at Oklahoma State University for 2 years, and I am now working on building a new college team at Metropolitan State University of Denver. I also play for Queen City RFC in Denver. During the fall of 2014, I was a Sponsorship/Marketing intern at USA Rugby at the national office in Boulder, CO.
Youth Rugby & Development Coach (Seattle, WA)
College: University of Washington with a double degree in Business and Informatics
Background in Rugby: I’ve played 12 years and decided to hang up my boots the past year to pick up coaching. It was my transition year from player to coach this past year with University of Washington. I’m being mentored by Kevin Swiryn and look to develop my coaching style off him. Before UW, I played in Singapore, representing at the U17 national squad. I started playing men’s rugby at 15 and have been representing both school and club ever since.
New Media Communications & Sales Intern (San Diego, CA)

College: Graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 2014 with a Bachelor’s in Communications with a concentration in Entertainment Studies. Hoping to start my Master’s soon.
Rugby Background: Been playing rugby for 15 years. Played for U-19 Fullerton Lady Lions, Southern California Griffin All-Stars, and CSUF. Coached Fullerton Rugby U-10 contact, U-12 contact, and now assistant coaching Fullerton Lady Lions U-18 team. Coordinated Communications & Marketing for the Annual Fullerton High School International Invitational Rugby Tournament for the last 3 years. Coached the 1st Southern California Regional All-Star Team (North) and am now helping out with the Southern California Griffin All-Stars.
Strength & Conditioning Intern (Seattle, WA)

College: Central Washington University, majoring in Exercise Science
Background in Rugby: I have played rugby for 6 years now and loved every second of it. Throughout High School I played under Joshua Young, head of youth programming at Serevi Rugby, for the Eastside Lions. Afterwards attended Central Washington University and played under USA 7s All American Coach Anthony Pacheco. While at CWU, I was a U20 Junior World Rugby Trophy winner, 15s All American, 7s All American 3 times, and represented the USA Eagles 7s team in Dubai and South Africa during the 2014-15 season.
