Referee USA Rugby Academy Resident Camp

From the moment you are picked up from the airport, we take care of everything with our all inclusive USA Rugby Academy Referee Resident Camp. Accommodation, meals, multiple practices and refereeing sessions per day, recovery sessions, performance presentations, and access to the best coaches and referees from around the country are just a few of the highlights from camp.

Referee Experience:

Now in its second year, we have put together a learning experience focused on developing the whole referee, mind and body. Both on-field sessions and classroom/group work allow us to integrate practical techniques of refereeing rugby with more complicated conceptual discussions around the game. Featuring World Rugby and USA Rugby/Pro referee Kurt Weaver and USA Rugby/Pro referee Scott Green, campers will gain an athlete/referee experience which is like no other.

Our programming is designed to develop the modern rugby referee and maximize potential, whatever their goals may be. We aim to establish a strong technical foundation for game understanding, accelerated referee skill acquisition, and encourage referees to apply their technique under increased pressure both on and off the field.

This will be the single best thing you can do this year to improve your refereeing and meet your personal goals with rugby.
